The fallen trunk in the foreground and the living Kaiwe tree behind it form a quiet conversation between endurance and decay, persistence and time. Twisted wood, fractured rock, and drifting clouds come together in a scene that feels both powerful and contemplative. This image was recently exhibited at the BlackBox Gallery in Portland, Oregon.
