Photographed by Rick Naramore. "Transition" was photographed in the shifting dune fields of White Sands National Park in New Mexico, where wind, light, and time continuously reshape the landscape. A narrow trail of footprints traces a quiet passage across sculpted gypsum sand, leading through alternating bands of shadow and illumination.

Sweeping white dunes rise and fall toward a distant horizon, while a dramatic sky gathers above—darkening on one side, opening to light on the other. The meeting of opposing forces creates a visual dialogue between stillness and motion, calm and tension, presence and absence.

"Transition" explores moments of change—both physical and symbolic—where movement through space becomes a reflection of personal and emotional passage.
